Substantial experience in corporate governance, domestic and cross-border M&A, and structuring domestic and international joint ventures. Represents clients based in Europe and Asia in connection with M&A and joint ventures in the U.S. and represents U.S.-based companies doing business in Europe and Asia. As chair of Bodman's Automotive and Industrial Team, has represented numerous foreign suppliers in connection with their entry into the U.S. market. Authored the ballot proposal, later enacted into law, which authorized casino gaming in the City of Detroit.
