Joseph J Kochanek

Represents agent banks and other lenders in secured and unsecured loan originations, including multi-currency loan facilities, syndicated credit arrangements, professional sports team financings, and loans secured by stock and other assets located outside the US, principally in Europe, Mexico, South America, and the Pacific Rim. Substantial experience in commercial mortgage financings and other real estate transactions. Has been involved in numerous loan workouts, industry syndicated loans, and loans secured by foreign collateral, both inside and outside of bankruptcy. Has worked with banks to develop standard commercial loan documentation and lending procedures manuals. Also represents foundations, community development corporations, and other charitable organizations in public/private partnerships and urban revitalization projects.
