Laura S Friedrich

Laura Friedrich is a partner in the Asset Management Department known for leading complex, U.S. and cross-border fund formation matters with a particular strength in Latin America and other Emerging Markets. She represents fund sponsors, limited partners, and global distributors across the full lifecycle of private fund activity, from formation through ongoing operations.

Laura has led multi-billion dollar fundraisings for major U.S. sponsors and has guided middle market, regional, and sector-specific funds through more targeted capital raises. Her practice spans a broad range of asset categories, with deep experience in buy-out, real estate, energy, and infrastructure funds, among others.

On the investor and distributor side, Laura's clients include global financial institutions, development finance institutions, and family offices. She counsels these clients on global distribution matters, fund investments, co-investment opportunities, and the negotiation of fund terms, giving her a well-rounded perspective that benefits clients on both sides of the table.

Beyond fund formation, Laura advises funds and sponsors on the full spectrum of private fund matters, including internal management arrangements, regulatory and compliance obligations.
