Kristen specializes in white collar and criminal antitrust matters and in general criminal defense in various jurisdictions. She has tried numerous complex cases as lead counsel in federal court, throughout Colorado, and in Illinois and Virginia.

For nearly 20 years, Kristen has represented clients during all aspects of a case, from pre-trial representation during investigation phase, after indictment, at trial, during post-conviction proceedings, and on appeal. She has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Illinois Appellate Court, and the Illinois Prisoner Review Board. She has defended professionals before the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies and the Colorado Supreme Court Attorney Regulation Counsel. Kristen has handled complex international extradition issues and represented American citizens detained abroad facing extenuating circumstances.
