Practice Areas
Jill has built her career around a simple idea: the most powerful brands start with strong foundations.
Jill works with clients to protect the ideas and creativity that set them apart, guiding them through the full life of their brands, from early naming and clearance to securing U.S. and international protections and developing practical strategies to keep those brands strong.
Jill’s path to intellectual property law began in an unexpected place: competitive triathlon. Through her involvement with the USA Triathlon team, she developed a deep understanding of the sports world. That experience sparked her interest in sports law, branding and licensing, and ultimately led her to represent sports organizations and governing bodies on governance, sponsorship, licensing, and eligibility matters.
Today, Jill advises clients across industries on trademark clearance, registration, portfolio management, and global brand protection. She also helps clients navigate online and domain name disputes, conduct intellectual property audits, and build clear, practical policies for protecting their IP in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
Jill’s background in sports and nonprofit governance continues to guide her work. She counsels clients on operational issues, contracts, sponsorships and licensing, membership matters and compliance with league rules, and other state and federal requirements.
Clients value Jill’s steady, solutions‑focused approach and her ability to help them protect what they’ve built while navigating whatever comes next.
