Khin Cho Kyi

Remarked as a seasoned and skillful practitioner with over 48 years of legal experience in the public sector as well as in private practice in Myanmar. Joined government service in 1977 and served for 17 years as a lecturing tutor at the University of Law in Yangon, a Judicial Officer at the Supreme Court and a Judge in Yangon Division. After two years of working as a Senior legal consultant at a foreign law firm LWA Consultants, established a local business law firm Myanmar Legal Services Limited in 1998. Over the course legal career Khin Cho Kyi has developed an extensive network of professional relationships in Myanmar and internationally. She has acted as legal advisor for many private Myanmar and international corporate entities as well as multilateral international foundations and financial institutions, foreign embassies, law firms, etc. specializing in the areas of mining, oil and gas, power projects, M&A, telecommunications, project financing, banking and dispute resolutions. Admitted in Myanmar Bar Council and awarded Advocate of the Supreme Court in 1997.
