Kathryn Peat

Kathryn Peat is a Partner and Head of Family at Sinclair Gibson LLP, specialising exclusively in family law for more than 30 years. Her practice focuses on high-value and complex financial remedy cases, frequently involving family businesses, corporate structures, trusts, offshore assets, and multi-jurisdictional considerations. She advises high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals on divorce, nuptial agreements, Schedule 1 applications, children matters, and international relocation disputes. Kathryn also brings significant judicial experience, having sat in a part-time judicial capacity for approximately 20 years, most recently within the Financial Remedies Unit of the Central Family Court in London. She is recognised for her strategic approach to complex domestic and international family disputes and for her expertise in alternative dispute resolution, including family law arbitration.
