Henry Hickman

Henry Hickman leads the Litigation team at Sinclair Gibson LLP. He specialises in contentious trusts and estates matters, advising private individuals, trustees, family offices, privately owned companies and offshore law firms on complex disputes. His practice covers trust litigation, probate and inheritance disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, disputes involving closely held family businesses, and professional negligence claims concerning investment advice. He is also recognised for his well-established Privy Council practice and regularly advises on high-profile offshore and cross-border trust disputes.

• Advising a family office in relation to claims concerning its investment in the outcome of the largest and longest running litigation in Australia.

• Advising one of the branches of a family with interests in Bermuda trusts worth in excess of $200million in a contested blessing application.

• More than 20 years' experience advising on contentious trusts and probate matters.

• Advised on over 45 appeals and applications before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.
