Katherine Carre

Katherine is Counsel at BLG’s Toronto office. Her practice covers a broad range of corporate commercial matters, with an emphasis on advising charities and not-for-profit corporations. Her extensive experience with a variety of charities and not-for-profit corporations, with an expertise in dealing with social clubs and independent schools, includes reviewing and revising governance structure and governing documents; structuring and implementing reorganizations, mergers, asset transfers and amalgamations; advising directors, officers and corporations on fiduciary and corporate governance matters; and negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.
