Louise Lee

Louise is a partner in the Corporate and Capital Markets Group in BLG’s Calgary office. She has extensive experience advising corporate clients and structuring business transactions on private and public financings, including venture capital and private equity, as well as mergers, acquisitions and other business combinations of public and private issuers. These include take-over bids, amalgamations and plans of arrangements, and other corporate reorganizations. Louise also advises companies on governance and compliance with corporate and securities regulatory requirements. Louise helps clients to achieve their business and growth objectives by providing advice on corporate and commercial transactions, marketplace trends and opportunities, new legislation and regulations as well as helping them mitigate potential risks.

Louise is a co-leader of BLG's Driven by Women Initiative in Calgary and is also a member of the Private Equity Steering Committee. Louise is also a member of the board of governors for Bow Valley College, a director with the Venture Capital Association of Alberta and is Chair of Alberta Women Entrepreneurs.
