Karolina Stawowska

As the main contact for the Tax team in Wolf Theiss Poland, Karolina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. While she is a licensed tax adviser with over 25 years of experience, her area of specialisation is business structuring, business reorganisation and efficient acquisitions. She provides tax advice on transactions conducted by private equity and venture capital funds, the restructuring of capital groups, the development of tax-efficient structures for acquisitions and investment financing, as well as on tax-optimal exit strategies for the sale of enterprises and shares by both institutional and individual investors. In addition to her expertise in business transactions, Karolina also specialises in real estate transactions, the implementation of tax compliance procedures, international taxation and the upstreaming of funds to shareholders and investors. She also provides ongoing advice to Polish businesses in their core operations and investment activities as well as in family succession planning, especially through the establishment of Family Foundations. Furthermore, Karolina has a proven track record of success in tax proceedings and represents both individual and corporate clients before courts at all instances. She also advises on tax aspects of cross-border employee mobility.
