Karolina heads the Tax team in the Wolf Theiss Warsaw office. Although she is a licensed tax adviser with over 20 years of experience, her area of specialization is business structuring, business reorganization and efficient acquisitions. She provides tax advice on transactions conducted by private equity and venture capital funds, restructuring of capital groups, and development of tax-effective structures for the acquisition and financing of investments, as well as tax-optimal exit strategies for the sale of enterprises and shares by institutional and individual investors. Karolina also specializes in real estate transactions, introduction of tax compliance procedures, cost segregation projects and upstreaming of funds to shareholders and investors. She also provides ongoing advice to Polish businesses in their core operations and investment activity as well as conducts tax proceedings and successfully represents both individual and corporate clients in front of courts of both instances.
