As the head of the Tax team in the Warsaw office of Wolf Theiss, Karolina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. Although she is a licensed tax adviser with over 25 years of experience, her area of specialisation is business structuring, business reorganisation and efficient acquisitions. She provides tax advice on transactions conducted by private equity and venture capital funds, on restructuring of capital groups, and on the development of tax-effective structures for the acquisitions and financing of investments, as well as on tax-optimal exit strategies for the sale of enterprises and shares by institutional and individual investors. In addition to her expertise in business transactions, Karolina also specialises in real estate transactions, introduction of tax compliance procedures, international taxation and upstreaming of funds to shareholders and investors. She also provides ongoing advice to Polish businesses in their core operations and investment activities as well as in family succession planning especially through establishment of Family Foundation. Furthermore, Karolina has a proven track record of success in tax proceedings and represents both individual and corporate clients in front of courts of both instances. She also advises on tax aspects of cross-border employee mobility.
