Karl Boulanger

Karl’s practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution. He has experience in civil and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on class actions, product liability, and consumer law. His background in police technology enables him to provide creative solutions and a comprehensive approach to analysis in complex litigation.

In product liability matters, Karl has represented several pharmaceutical companies in claims relating to various drugs and medical devices, multinational beauty retailers, and an automotive manufacturer. He has also advised these companies and other significant stakeholders offering products and services in Québec, including multinational sales corporations, a digital platform, a major airline, one of the world's largest ticketing companies and various financial institutions, on issues related to consumer protection.

Karl also frequently advises various pharmaceutical companies on the regulatory requirements for operating in Québec.

Before joining Torys, Karl also practiced medical and disciplinary law, representing healthcare professionals in various claims.
