Currently principal in her own law firm, Klempp Advogados.

Karin started her carrer in Baker & McKenzie Germany, soon after concluding her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Cologne. After 14 years at Baker McKenzie, where she became a partner, she left for pursuing academic activities (Ph.D.) and joined different international law firms as partner responsible for developing the digital law practice.

With the experience, she received several appointments as arbitrator and mediator and decided to make an strategic move to her own practice.
