Ms. Julia Ying Zhu is an equity partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm. She has been practicing in the area of capital markets for decades, with a focus on M&A, securities and private equity investment, mainly in the sectors of healthcare, pharmaceuticals & life sciences, energy & power, environmental protection, real estate, urban infrastructure, logistics industry and Information and intelligent technology. Ms. Zhu is conscientious and rigorous and has a strong commitment to efficiency and execution. She is adept at handling large-scale and complex M&A deals. Moreover, she has developed an enviable reputation for effectively coordinating the firm’s resources and giving full play to teamwork to best serve clients’ business objectives. She is especially skilled in advising State-owned listed companies and large enterprise groups.

The transactions of Shanghai Pharmaceutical’s acquisition of Cardinal Health China and Sinotrans’s merger of Sinoair for listing through share swap advised on by Ms. Zhu were awarded Deals of the Year (2018) and Deals of the Year (2019) by China Business Law Journal. Her involvement in Shanghai Pharma Health’s acquisition of KDL Pharmacy and Baiji Pharmacy earned her the recognition by 2021 IFLR1000 China Awards.
