His professional practice focuses on debt issuances of banking institutions in Colombia and abroad. He has represented lenders, sponsors, borrowers and Colombian governmental entities in financings and the development of projects in the energy, infrastructure and oil and gas sectors.

Work Highlights
Counsel to IFC - Corporación Financiera Internacional in Bogotá’s first international green bond issuance aimed at financing clean transportation projects such as the second metro line and two cable cars.
Counsel to Procaps Group entities in a debt restructuring of US$209 million existing debt that will help the group focusing on its plans to restore profitability by cutting costs and concentrating on its most profitable areas, particularly prescription drugs and contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services.
Counsel to Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica (BCIE), in relation with a USD $250,000,000 loan granted to the Republic of Colombia. The proceeds of the loan will be used to support policy actions and development outcomes for climate action, clean energy transition and green fiscal strengthening of the Republic of Colombia.
Counsel to Global Acces Fund IV LP, in relation with the review and preparation of the forms of the financing documents that will be used by GAF IV to make loans to certain financial institutions in Colombia.
