About
Provided by Joseph Hart
Practice Areas
Alongside a successful Crown Court practice in serious crime Joseph Hart regularly acts in regulatory matters such as health and safety prosecutions in incidents involving death; significant breaches of fire safety regulations and prosecutions for environmental crime. He is on the government's national list of special regulatory advocates in health and safety and environmental law. His experience of jury-based advocacy is an asset in areas of law often dominated by advocates who lack a broad Crown Court experience and he provides robust trial focused advice and quick thinking to the most complex regulatory cases. His inquest work is undertaken at a national level focusing on those cases with a regulatory criminal element. Joseph Hart has an expanding practice in cases involving professional discipline.
