Liam Kelly

Liam specialises in family law with a busy practice focusing on financial remedy and private children work.

In financial remedy matters, he is recognised for meticulous preparation and pragmatic advocacy, acting in cases involving complex assets, business interests, pensions, property disputes, and issues over disclosure, non-matrimonial property, and third-party interests. He is valued for a strategic approach, combining firm negotiation with a clear focus on client objectives.

In private children matters, Liam represents parents and children in disputes concerning domestic abuse, coercive control, and sexual assault, as well as schooling, travel, immunisations, and relocation. He has appeared in the High Court in cases of international abduction and contested medical treatment.

Liam is a regular contributor to the Family Law Journal and is the current editor of the Summary of Summaries for the Financial Remedy Journal.
