José Sánchez de León

José Sánchez de León is Counsel in the Litigation and Arbitration Department of Eversheds Sutherland in Madrid. He has extensive experience in complex commercial disputes, representing domestic and international clients in both court proceedings and national and international arbitration.

His practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, with particular expertise in shareholder and corporate disputes, as well as post-M&A litigation and arbitration. He regularly advises and represents clients in high-value disputes arising from share purchase agreements, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, directors’ liability matters and other corporate transactions.

José also has significant experience in construction and infrastructure disputes, including claims relating to EPC contracts, energy projects, concession agreements, consortium arrangements and large-scale engineering and construction projects. He has acted in proceedings before a range of leading arbitral institutions and has represented clients across a broad spectrum of industry sectors.
