Commercial and chancery litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on contractual claims; civil fraud; company, director and shareholder disputes; and mortgages and other banking litigation.

Jonathan appears most often in the Commercial Court and other divisions/lists in the Business & Property Courts, both as a sole advocate (often against silks) and as a junior; but he also has experience in the Court of Appeal and the Privy Council, as well as offshore Courts and specialist tribunals.

He has appeared both led and un-led in complex and lengthy High Court trials and has also advised and appeared on a wide range of interim applications, including applications for freezing and proprietary injunctions; committal orders; security for costs; orders for cross-examination; civil restraint orders; and disclosure orders.
