John represented SoftBank in connection with its $10 billion monetization of a portion of its interest in Alibaba through the second-largest mandatory exchangeable security offering ever conducted. John has also advised clients on a variety of corporate governance and disclosure issues, including issues relating to the governance implications of artificial intelligence, financial statement restatements, disclosure policies and procedures, non-GAAP financial measures and Regulation FD, and has participated in a number of internal inquiries and investigations.
