Joanne is a Partner in the Travel Litigation team at JMW Solicitors, Manchester, specialising in helping clients who have sustained injuries following an accident abroad. Her expertise lies in dealing with complex and catastrophic injury claims, and she has achieved numerous multi-million pound settlements which have provided for her clients rehabilitation and future needs. She also regularly deals with fatal accidents, road traffic accidents abroad, clients who were working abroad, accidents on airplanes, and accidents on cruise ships as well as having a special interest and experience in assisting survivors of sexual assaults.

Career

Joanne qualified in 2002 after her training at Pannone and Partners, and specialised in catastrophic injury cases at Pannone until their acquisition by Slater Gordon where she then subspecialised in cross border serious injury. Joanne joined JMW in April 2018 to head up the Travel Litigation team.

Professional Memberships

Joanne is a member of APIL and is the co-ordinator of the North West Regional Group. She is also a member of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers, and the American Association of Justice where she has presented at their annual conference and is on the committee of the International Practice Section.

Joanne enjoys running and yoga and travelling with her children in her spare time.
