JIM QIU is a partner from the practice groups of Compliance and Life Science & Healthcare of the firm and resident in the Shanghai office. Mr. Qiu has been dedicated to compliance and risk management services for various transactions and enterprises. He has extensive practice experience in enterprise compliance management and operation, analysis, control and mitigation of compliance risks, compliance review, compliance investigation and due diligence, as well as consultation and support on legal proceedings against compliance violation domestically and overseas.

Mr. Qiu has been serving on a long-term basis many multinational and domestic biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, online medical service and third party medical service enterprises, medical institutions, medical affairs associations, etc. Mr. Qiu and his team’s practices cover the entire circle of the operation of healthcare and life science enterprises, such as industry access and supervision, licensing transaction, product R&D and clinical compliance, healthcare regulatory compliance, product marketing, academic activities, HCP interaction, pharmacovigilance, medical device adverse events, online healthcare, medical malpractice, etc. In addition to the healthcare sector, Mr. Qiu and his team also has good knowledge and experience in the fields of health food, cosmetics, food for specific medical purposes, infant formula food, pet food (including pet prescription food), etc.
