Jeffrey Poss

Co-Chair of Willkie’s Private Equity Practice Group, member of the firm’s Executive Committee and incoming joint Chairman of the firm (January 2027). Leads a cross-border, multidisciplinary private equity team practicing in 16 key markets across the US and Europe. Advises on domestic and cross-border private equity and venture capital transactions, and M&A transactions involving both public and private companies. Focuses on the financial services, Fintech, insurance and technology/media/telecom sectors, and represents some of the most prominent investors in these sectors, including Aquiline Capital Partners and Genstar Capital.

Currently serves, and in the past has served, on several boards and advisory councils at The University of Pennsylvania, including a current appointment to the Penn Institute for Urban Research Advisory Board. Additionally, he was a longtime member of the advisory board of the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, and serves as the relationship partner for Willkie’s pro bono representation of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
