Practices corporate and securities law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Regularly advises clients on takeover bids, arrangements and similar transactions. Has been involved with cross-border and international mergers and acquisitions and proxy contests. Served as a member of the Securities Advisory Committee of the Ontario Securities Commission from 2002-2005. Former Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary. Frequent author and speaker on various topics in securities law.
