Javier Yañez Evangelista

Javier Yañez has been a lawyer in the Madrid office since 2014, the year in which he joined to the area of Litigation law and arbitration. Formerly a member of the judicial staff, exercising his professional duties in several Courts, until he specialized in Company Law in the Judicial Service in 2008, and was appointed head of the Commercial Court No 9 of Madrid, where he served until 2014.

He practices in the field of Civil litigation law and Commercial law. He has extensive experience in litigation, particularly in the corporate and insolvency field, derived from prior judicial experience. He also has extensive experience in hiring based on mass consumption and its subsequent disputes, essentially related to the use of financial products.

He is advisor to restructuring proceedings of insolvency and pre-insolvency indebtedness and has undertaken the defence and representation of a wide range of entities in corporate and consumer proceedings.
