Career

With more than 35 years of experience working with clients in the U.S. and around the world, Javier Martínez del Campo's practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, and on securities and finance matters, including corporate restructuring and debt refinancing. His M&A practice is concentrated on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, with particular emphasis on joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate governance and recapitalizations. Javier has advised clients regarding merger control regulations under the Mexican competition framework, and with respect to his securities and finance practice, he advises Mexican borrowers and issuers in a variety of transactions, including debt offerings, credit agreements and workouts. Javier also maintains an active pro bono practice. He is co-author of various articles on Mexican competition topics.
