Javier Escalante

Javier is an experienced lawyer, with more than 20 years working in important law firms in Costa Rica and for the Government of Costa Rica. Previously he played an active role in the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; He was a Trade Negotiator and was appointed Consul General of Costa Rica in Singapore and Ambassador of Costa Rica in Qatar. With a Master’s Degree in Law and Economics, from the University of Utrecht (Holland) and a Master’s Degree in International Business Law, from the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain), Javier is considered one of the best lawyers in Costa Rica.
