Career
She is Director, manager, and attorney of the regional intellectual property practice area. She is a lawyer with more than 15 years of experience in national and international intellectual property matters. Responsible for advising and creating strategies on the appropriate use, protection, and enforcement of intangible assets in Guatemala and internationally for local and foreign clients, as well as the preparation of the contractual framework for intangible assets transactions, and managing national and international intellectual property portfolios.
Lecturer, university teacher, panelist and jury member on various topics related to intellectual property in different national and international academic, commercial, and non-profit organizations, of particular interest speaker for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
She is also actively involved in Orange Economy. She has been appointed member of the Board of Directors of the Orange Economy Committee for the period 2024-2026, of AGEXPORT (Asociación Guatemalteca de Exportadores), one of the most recognized private exportation agencies of the country.

In this extensive interview published by the European academic journal, I discussed legal issues, as well as the main legal risks for global organizations and the importance of intellectual property in a volatile business environment.
