Jason Wagenmaker is a partner in Akin’s Energy & Infrastructure practice, based in Chicago. Jason advises investors and companies on high-stakes M&A and complex corporate transactions, with a particular focus on the infrastructure sector.

He represents private equity, pension and other institutional investors, as well as public and private companies, across a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments. Jason has extensive experience across core infrastructure sectors, including rail, ports and other transportation assets, and advises on transactions spanning digital infrastructure, energy and industrials. He also has advised on large-scale, cross-border transactions for leading infrastructure investors. He was also recognized by Leading Lawyers as an Emerging Lawyer in M&A (2016).
