He has extensive experience in matters before the SEC, CFTC, DOJ and other regulators. He is a go-to lawyer in the investment funds space, assisting investment management clients with respect to regulatory compliance with federal securities and commodities laws. Peter is a leader in Akin’s digital assets, cryptocurrency & blockchain practice, representing senior executives, trading firms and exchanges in some of the most sophisticated and high-profile government investigations involving cryptocurrencies and other digital assets.

Peter’s practice draws from experience as an enforcement lawyer at the SEC, where he worked in the Division of Enforcement’s Market Abuse Unit.
