Career

Jaime Campos, partner at Zúñiga Campos Abogados, brings over four decades of experience in criminal litigation, crime prevention, and administrative sanctioning law. In addition to his longstanding private practice as a lawyer, company director, and consultant, he has held a distinguished public career, serving as Deputy of the Republic (1990–1994), Minister of Agriculture (2000–2006), and Minister of Justice and Human Rights (2016–2018). He has taught criminal law at the University of Concepción and delivered academic and professional training at several universities across Chile, publishing extensively on criminal law. Jaime is director of the Institute of Criminal Sciences and a member of the Chilean Bar Association of the Concepción Region.
