Career

María Celeste Angulo, partner at Zúñiga Campos Abogados, focuses her practice on tax law and foreign investment, combining extensive public and private sector experience. She began her career at the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (2001–2012), where she worked as both a litigator and tax advisor. Since then, she has consolidated her practice advising clients on complex tax planning, compliance, and dispute resolution. María Celeste holds a Law and Social Sciences degree from La República University (2001) and a Master’s in Tax Management from Adolfo Ibáñez University (2010), in addition to postgraduate diplomas in tax law from the University of Chile, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and the University of Development. She is also active in academia, serving as professor in the Master’s in Tax Management and Administration at Adolfo Ibáñez University, the Master’s in Business Taxation at the University of the Andes, and the Tax Diploma program at the University of Santiago de Chile. She currently serves as Director-Treasurer of the Chilean Institute of Tax Law.
