Career
Eduardo Ugarte, partner at Zúñiga Campos Abogados, has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, representing both domestic and international clients. His practice includes advising on disputes related to large-scale engineering and construction projects, arbitrations for power generation companies under ICC and UNCITRAL rules, natural gas supply contract disputes, environmental litigation, contractual and non-contractual liability, and the defense of consumer class actions. Eduardo began his career in 1994 after earning his Law and Social Sciences degree from the University of Chile and later enhanced his international expertise at The Academy of American and International Law in Dallas, Texas. He has also contributed to academia as a visiting professor of civil law at the University of Chile Law School and as teaching assistant to Professor Enrique Barros B. in civil law and extracontractual liability.
