Jaime Ramirez

Real Estate

Member of the Real Estate and Urban Law team. His professional practice focuses on advising important clients in real estate and zoning matters. He has been involved in several transactions, including drafting and negotiation of promises, purchase, lease and easement agreements. He also has experience in drafting and negotiation of master investment agreements, shareholders agreements and trust agreements for the development of several real estate projects (malls, offices, senior living, etc.). He has several experience in real estate and zoning due diligence, titles research and zoning studies.

Jaime has a Law Degree from Universidad del Rosario (2014). He also has a Diploma in Real Estate from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2014), a Postgraduate Degree in Enterprise Law from Universidad del Rosario (2016) and a Diploma in Finance Matters from Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (2019) and another in Preparation of Real Estate Projects from Universidad de Los Andes (2020).

Counsel to SiRenta (Fondo de Inversión Colectiva) in the due diligence of real estate assets located in the La Candelaria Free Trade Zone and on the negotiation for their acquisition. Additionally, we provided support in the sale of other real estate assets in Bogotá and in the closing of a long-term lease agreement for a commercial premises in Cali.

Counsel to Tiendas Aruma in the structuring of a legal strategy to address issues arising in one of Bogotá’s most renowned shopping centers.

Counsel to Agroindustrial de Palma Aceitera S.A., Sucursal Colombia in due diligence and structuring for the acquisition of rural land intended for the development of a productive project.
