Jake Schtevie is a partner in Willkie's Finance Department, based in the Firm's Chicago office. He represents a variety of banks and debt investors in connection with leveraged finance transactions, with an emphasis on sponsor-backed LBOs and recapitalizations. He regularly handles the negotiation and documentation of various credit facility structures, including senior secured, unsecured, first lien/second lien, senior stretch, unitranche, recurring revenue financings, preferred equity, and mezzanine debt investments. He has significant experience with lenders, financial sponsors, and corporate borrowers across many industries and sectors, on both large-cap and middle market transactions.
