Iacopo Fontana has an extensive experience in distressed M&A, debt restructuring and insolvency procedures. He advises Italian and foreign companies, banks and financial institutions on debt restructuring transactions (both in-court and out-of-court transactions) and on default situations in general. Iacopo also assists his clients in banking transactions, structured finance, real estate financing, project financing and other capital market operations, and has developed a significant experience in the shipping sector.

Partner in Legance since 2020. Previously Senior Counsel in Legance Milan office (2018 – 2020) and London office (2016 – 2018), Counsel in Legance London office (2013 – 2016).
