Monica Colombera coordinates the Energy & Infrastructure team in Legance. She regularly assists lenders and sponsors in financing major transactions and in the structuring of projects. She also assists domestic and foreign investors in M&A transactions, joint-ventures, development projects and secondary market deals both in the infrastructure and energy sector (oil and gas, photovoltaic, wind, hydro energy).

Monica is widely recognized not only for her technical and legal capabilities but also for her deep understanding of the market dynamics. She is regularly involved in assisting institutions and stakeholders with respect to legislative reforms, contractual standardisations and issues of general interest in the relevant market.

Career

Senior Partner in Legance since 2007, she coordinates the Energy & Infrastructure department.

Previously she was Partner (2005–2007) and Senior Associate (2002-2005) in Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners. Before she was Associate in Simmons & Simmons Grippo in Milan (1993-2001) and Associate (1994) in Simmons & Simmons in London.
