Antonio Matino focuses on banking, structured finance and corporate law. He takes part in financing transactions (including in the real estate sector), as well as structuring financial instruments (including hybrid and innovative capital instruments) aimed at optimizing the regulatory capital of banks and financial intermediaries. Antonio Matino is also regularly involved in structured finance and securitisation transactions, both with performing and non-performing loan portfolios as underlying assets and with real estate as underlying assets. In the area of debt transactions, Antonio has also provided assistance in the issuance of bonds, commercial paper and other debt securities (including under EMTN programmes). Antonio also advises banks and financial intermediaries on regulatory matters related to banking law.
Antonio Matino is a Partner in Legance since 2022.
Prevoiusly, he was Counsel from 2018 to 2019 and then Senior Counsel from 2019 to 2022 in Legance.
In 2017 he obtained a PH.D. in Law at Università degli Studi di Milano, in Milan, and his Ph.D. Dissertation has been awarded by Associazione Gianfranco Campobasso as the best Dissertation in Company and Banking Law.
In 2011 he was admitted to the Milan Bar, Italy.
