Cristina Martorana focuses on administrative and environmental law.
She has deep experience in Italian and European administrative law (judicial and out-of-court), particularly in the regulated fields of energy and infrastructure with reference to issues related to the construction, acquisition or financing of plants that produce energy from renewable and conventional sources, environmental law and climate change, network infrastructures, gas, district heating, waste to energy, energy and gas trading contracts, physical and synthetic PPA, PPP and public procurement.
Joined Legance in 2019 as coordinator of the Milan based administrative energy team.
Previously Partner in Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe (Europe) LLP (2015–2018), in Watson Farley & Williams (2012–2015) and in Clifford Chance (2007–2012).
Before she was Counsel (2004-2007) and Senior Associate (2002-2004) in Clifford Chance and Senior Associate in Macchi di Cellere e Gangemi (2001-2002) and in Baker & Mc Kenzie (2000–2001) and Associate at Studio Legale Prof. Avv. Giuseppe Volpe, Pisa (1994-2000).

Cristina Martorana is a lecturer at conferences and seminars on administrative/environmental law and project finance, she also has a strong academic experience as a professor.
