Huaining Sun is a partner specializing in environmental protection, production safety (the “ES”) and energy sources. Mr. Sun has been providing legal services to governmental authorities and major enterprises. He is familiar not only with laws and regulations in ES, but also with regulatory systems and company management systems. Mr. Sun’s regular clients include Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangsu Province, Zhenjiang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, CR Power Jiangsu Branch, Jiangsu Huadian Energy Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Electric Power Development Co., Ltd., Tianshun Wind Power (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. and so on. Mr. Sun is acting as longtime legal counsel in environmental protection for China Petrochemical Corporation. In litigation, Mr. Sun represented Environment Federation of Jiangsu Province with Jiangsu Provincial Government against Dystar Colours (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. which was selected as one of the Top Ten Civil & Administrative Cases of 2017 by the Supreme Court of China. In non-litigation projects, He advised the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangsu Province on the compensation negotiation project for ecological and environmental damages involved in “321 Xiangshui Explosion Accident”.
