Lim Heng Seng heads the employment and industrial relations (“IR”) practice of LHAG.
He formerly served with the Malaysian Judicial and Legal Service including as Chairman of the Industrial Court and the Social Security (SOCSO) Appellate Board.
His practice covers all aspects of employment and IR law, with a particular focus on corporate advisory work. His forte is strategic and close collaboration with client’s human resource and/or legal personnel in identifying people issues and proposing systemic solutions aimed at avoidance, resolution and settlement of workplace issues.
He selectively litigates employment and IR cases in the High Court and appellate courts.
His clients include international household names with significant operations in Malaysia, leading Malaysian corporates, local and foreign government and statutory bodies, diplomatic missions, and international organisations.
