Prosecutes and defends fraud and serious crime, and practises across a range of regulatory areas. He increasingly acts as leading counsel, including in two recent prosecutions for insider dealing. A CPS grade 4 serious crime, fraud and RASSO prosecutor and on the Regulatory ‘A’ list. Represents police officers from forces nationwide in performance and misconduct proceedings, criminal trials and inquests, and also represents police forces in relation to Article 2 inquests arising from deaths in custody and following police contact. Other specializations include the full range of Licensing work for applicants, appellants, local authorities and police; advising Police forces and regulatory authorities across a range of regulatory and criminal areas; acting in judicial review proceedings for individual officers, the IOPC and the NCA.
