Prosecutes and defends fraud and serious crime, and practises across a range of regulatory areas. A CPS grade 4 serious crime, fraud and RASSO prosecutor and on the Regulatory ‘A’ list. Current instructions include prosecuting an election fraud and defending in an insider trading prosecution.

Represents police officers from forces nationwide in performance and misconduct proceedings, criminal trials and inquests, and also represents police forces in relation to inquests. He is currently representing GMP in the Manchester Arena Public Inquiry. Other specializations include the full range of Licensing work for applicants, appellants, local authorities and police; advising Police forces and regulatory authorities across a range of regulatory and criminal areas; acting in judicial review proceedings for individual officers, the IOPC and the NCA; advising in matters arising from the Gambling Act 2005; appearing on behalf of casinos in applications for freezing injunctions in the High Court; appearing in judicial review claims on behalf of claimant, defendant, and interested parties.
