Gregory R. Faulkner has over 30 years of experience in construction law, serving as local, national, and international counsel across all facets of the field. Greg provides a full-service approach, from project delivery selection and contract drafting to litigation in federal and state courts and alternative dispute resolution. He has represented institutional owners, developers, and construction firms in projects valued from under $10 million to over $700 million, including major university expansions, a global headquarters for a food and beverage company, high-rise luxury developments, and large-scale hospitality projects. His expertise extends to drafting and negotiating hundreds of millions of dollars in contracts, utilizing both custom templates and industry-standard forms like AIA and DBIA.
Greg also excels in resolving construction disputes, including issues of defective workmanship, delays, and cost overruns, through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. His successes include multi-million-dollar settlements for construction defects at a major university and resolving complex delay claims on large transportation projects. A longtime member of the American Arbitration Association's construction and commercial panels, Greg has chaired arbitrations and is extensively trained by the AAA. A Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, he is recognized as a leader in his field and contributes frequently to the firm’s blog, "Construction Law Zone."

Greg is a longtime member of the commercial and construction panel of neutrals for both the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the American Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut and is a Fellow in the Construction Lawyers Society of America, an invitation-only construction lawyer honorary society with membership limited to 1,200 practicing Fellows from the United States and internationally.
