Grace is a leading barrister with over 20 years’ experience, recognised in Chambers UK Bar Guide and Legal 500 for her expertise in employment law. She is known for her strategic approach and strong advocacy in complex and high-profile cases.
She acts for both claimants and respondents in Employment Tribunal, High Court and Employment Appeal Tribunal proceedings. Her practice includes discrimination, whistleblowing, unfair dismissal, redundancy and injunctive relief. Grace has represented clients in claims against major public bodies including the University of Oxford, NHS Trusts, Transport for London and London Fire Brigade, and regularly advises on internal disciplinary and grievance matters.
Her respondent work includes advising local authorities, schools and international businesses on TUPE, restructuring and breach of confidentiality. She is experienced in cases attracting national media attention.
Grace also maintains a strong family law practice, particularly in Children Act proceedings involving domestic abuse, international relocation and jurisdictional issues. She is adept at handling sensitive matters with discretion and care.
She has a broader civil practice including personal injury and inquests, and has lectured at University College London and University of the West of England. Grace is committed to access to justice and provides pro bono advice through Citizens Advice.
Grace was called to the Bar in 2005 as a Hardwicke Scholar. She read law at Trinity College, Cambridge, where she won a Tripos prize and was awarded a Whittaker scholarship
