Gonzalo Rubio

Gonzalo is specialized in Public Law and Energy. In matters of Public Law, he advises private entities and public authorities on issues related to Constitutional and European law, public procurement, public domain, administrative authorizations, sanctioning proceedings and liability of public authorities. Gonzalo regularly represents clients before contentious administrative courts. In relation to the Energy Sector, he advises on procedures before the Public Administrations and the National Market and Competition Commission, working on a regular basis for energy companies in all kind of regulatory matters, including due diligence processes, permitting, and any legal issue arising from the commissioning of the facilities onwards.

Gonzalo is recognized as a remarkable practitioner in water law in Spain.

He began his professional career in Garayar Asociados, until he moved to MVA Asociados, since the foundation of the Firm. He has recently been promoted to the Partner role.
