Giles Kennedy is a partner in Milbank’s Singapore office and a member of the firm’s Global Capital Markets Group. Giles has over 20 years of experience advising on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions in every major country in Southeast Asia. His practice focuses on cross-border securities offerings, with particular focus on high-yield debt and equity offerings in the Asia-Pacific region and mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate financings across a wide range of industries and sectors, including telecommunications, real estate / property development, conventional and renewable power, energy and natural resources, finance, transportation, manufacturing and agribusiness. Combining his expertise in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, Giles has guided clients through a number of SPAC and De-SPAC transactions from Asia. Giles is qualified to practice law in New York and England and Wales and New Zealand.
