Gijs Wanders is an attorney-at-law at AKD who specialises in commercial litigation and collective redress. He advises and represents businesses in contractual and other liability disputes, with particular expertise in technical sectors such as automotive and manufacturing.

Gijs has developed a deep expertise in Dutch class actions with over eight years of experience, particularly in proceedings under the WAMCA. He has been actively involved in collective proceedings before district courts and courts of appeal, as well as in large-scale mass settlements. Gijs mainly assists collective redress organisations and groups of consumers in collective proceedings. He primarily represents collective redress organisations and consumer groups, covering a wide range of legal areas including liability law and consumer protection.
