Gianluigi Marino

Gianluigi leads the AI & Digitalisation team in Italy and is responsible for the Technology, Media & Communications (TMC) and Data Protection departments.

He provides highly specialised legal advice to support the digital transformation of business processes. He advises in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance, technology law, privacy and data protection, intellectual property and cybersecurity, both in litigation and out-of-court.

An expert in media and communications, his advice extends to platform law, e-commerce, consumer protection, misleading advertising, prize promotions, commercial contracts, outsourcing and copyright.

Gianluigi has gained significant experience in designing and reviewing privacy compliance programmes and in providing assistance during and after inspections by the Data Protection Authority.

His clients include some of the world's leading Big Tech companies, Italian and foreign companies, and start-ups.
