Garikai is a seasoned corporate lawyer. He was previously a partner in the commercial & financial services unit of a commercial law practice in Harare. Prior to the establishment of BeraMasamba, he spent 11 years in the mining industry and was the legal counsel for a leading ASX-listed mining group in Zimbabwe and acquired in-depth experience in corporate law matters and mining projects and transactions.

Garikai’s practice is primarily involved in, and he advises on, commercial and corporate law transactions, mining projects and transactions, and real estate-related transactions.
