Felipe Álvarez

Business labour consultant with more than twenty years of professional experience in consulting, collective bargaining, restructuring processes and attention to lawsuits. He provides legal advice to clients in different inquiries and legal proceedings before Colombia Courts. In addition, he represents clients before the Ministry of Labour, UGPP and other state entities. He has acted as umpire in different arbitration tribunals. Some of his clients: Unilever, Ramo, Takami, LATAM Airlines, Copa Airlines, Tigo-UNE, British American Tobacco, JGB, Johnson & Johnson, Scotiabank Colpatria, GNB Sudameris, Frontera Energy, Tuscany, AES Chivor, Terpel, Nissan.

Studied law at the Universidad Javeriana and obtained a specialisation in labour, employment and social security law at the same university. He thought Procedural Law at the Javeriana, and "Employment Contract" in the specialization of labor law at Universidad Sergio Arboleda. Is professor of the Continued Studies Department and in the certificate in conciliation and employment law at the Javeriana. He is professor at the postgraduate course of the Faculty of Law at the Javeriana for ACRIP, providing labor law courses.

Member of ANDI (National Association of Businessmen of Colombia) labour committee.
